The Lions have been growing their very own tomatoes outside in our garden for a few months. 

Back in March the children planted the seeds in small plant pots and placed them into our small green house. In June they had grown and were ready to be transferred into our plant bed. 

Every day the children have been watering the tomato plants to help them grow and finally this week some of our tomatoes have been ready to pick.   

The children picked a couple of the red tomatoes and during tea time the children were able to have the tomatoes with their foot.
