All aboard!

To end our transport topic the babies have focused on trains. We explored our local train station and the very kind people at the ticket office greeted us gave us some tube maps to take back to nursery. Then we waited for a train to pull in, the babies were very excited to see and hear the train as it drove into the station and then watch all of the passengers get off. We spotted some more trains on the bridge as we walked back to nursery, and we enjoyed watching them pass too. Back at nursery we extended our focus on trains by creating our own oyster cards and building our own track so that we could become mini train drivers.
