Road Safety
The preschool have extended their transport topic with learning all about road safety and this included a local walk to observe the traffic and discuss the traffic light system. The children observed the green person on the light controlled pelican crossing and the zebra crossing.
To extend the children created their own traffic lights and set up a traffic system role play in the garden. The children were keen to role play with their peers on the stop and go systems with their crossing and bikes.
