National Doughnut Day 

On Friday 4th June 2021 the nursery celebrated National Doughnut Day. The children enjoyed making their own doughnuts using the doughnut maker. To start the activity the children completed a risk assessment for the activity to include the risk of the hot plates. The children made followed the recipe to add and mix the ingredients from the recipe and discussed the change of consistency and what they think will happen next when they added the mixture to the doughnut maker. 

To complete the activity the children decorated their individual doughnuts ready to take home to share with their loved ones.
