Going to the Dentist
The Butterflies have been looking at going to the Dentist. They read a story with Georgia about a trip to the dentist. They talked abut what might happen at the dentist. Some of the children talked about their trips to the dentist. Georgia demonstrated how to clean teeth properly and the children had the opportunity to clean teeth in the tray using toothbrushes and toothpaste. The toothbrushes were manipulated to clean the dirt off of the teeth brushing backwards and forwards and practising teeth cleaning maneuvers. The children talked about why it is important to keep their teeth clean and how we do this.
