The Butterflies explored easel painting this week. They used a variety of different sized paint brushes to grasp in pincer and palmer grasps. Angling the paint brush to make marks on the easel. The children used hand eye co-ordination to connect the paint brush with the paper as they explored their physical development and gross motor skills. Children made a variety of marks on the paper, giving meaning to the marks they made by detailing to practitioners what they had painted.
