Oceania Animals Day

On Thursday 26th August the children enjoyed taking part in Oceania Animals Day.

Penguins, pelicans and Puffins enjoyed learning fun facts about koala bears, before using playdough and different natural materials to create their own interpretations of koala bears. The children loved exploring the smells of the different herbs, which made up their koala's habitat.

Seahorses, Turtles and Dolphins had a fantastic time looking at all of of the wonderful books their friend brought in for a show and tell session. The children then decided to craft some of the animals they had observed in the books helped their familiar adults to gather all of the resources they would need.
