The children had lots of fun in this role play activity! They were provided with lots of foam, a variety of containers and different utensils. The children enjoyed using their spoons and scoops to put their foam in the containers and making ice cream for their friends! The team introduced new vocabulary such as scoop and pour as well as mathematical language such as more, less, empty and full. During this activity, the children explored their senses by using their hands to feel and their noses to smell the different flavours. When creating their foam ice cream, the children then added sprinkles and decorations for a finishing touch. Well done Butterflies!
