European Day of Languages

We would like to thank Nadim’s mum for coming in to speak to the children about the Arabic language for European Day of Languages! The children had a short circle time discussing some of the differences between the English alphabet and the Arabic alphabet. We also learnt some phrases in Arabic such as “hello” and “thank you” and Nadim’s mum even took the time to write all of our names in Arabic, thank you so much! Lastly we learnt that in Arabic writing we read from right to left, compared to English writing which is read from left to right.
