The Ponies went on a walk around the local community to photograph the environment. The children had to opportunity to spot interesting areas of the local community while they were walking, and chose which things they’d like to photograph. We spoke about keeping the camera in focus, looking at the screen to ensure we’d capture the image they wanted, and looked at how the sun created different lighting and shadow patterns in our images. The children double checked their photographs and made sure they were exactly how they liked them before moving on. They will print them back at nursery to see their creations.
