Life cycle of a plant

This week in toddler room we continued our life cycles topic by exploring the life cycle of a plant. To do this we learned about seeds and plants through our “A seed in Need” book. It taught us what a seed needs to help it grow into a plant. We then explored our own planting texture tuft tray. We had lots of visuals that helped us see the process of the plant life cycle. We then explored planting our own little seed in some pots. We carefully used our motor skills to scoop and fill pots. We then sprinkled our little seeds inside. As we played we listened to our story to continue our learning of the growth of a plant. Great job toddlers!
