Balancing and fine motor skills

Lots of children in the cubs room are cruising around the rooms and now learning to balance by holding on to something. The room leader had stuck up lots of objects on the mirror where the balancing frame is, which they enjoyed firstly pulling themselves up and then pulling the objects of the mirror :)

The EYFS framework emphasizes physical development, which includes both balancing and fine motor skills for babies and young children. These skills are developed incrementally through play-based activities such as crawling and rolling, climbing and running, and manipulating objects. Balancing is improved through activities like walking on different surfaces and using balance boards, while fine motor skills are strengthened with tasks like threading beads, playing with playdough, and using small tools.
