Hygiene

This week in baby room we finished off our All About me topic by exploring hygiene and how we can wash and keep clean. For our first activity we had lots of fun washing our babies in our individual baby bath water boxes. We enjoyed using the sponges and cloths to wash our babies and explore what happens when a sponge gets wet. Our favourite was squeezing the sponge and watching all the water pour out over our hands. We also used our mathematical skills through filling and pouring with jugs. We really liked pouring the water over the babies' heads and watching what happens next. We also explored a sensory bag activity with pom poms where we used utensils to wash “germs” off our hands. Overall, we had a fun learning week where we enhanced our mathematical skills and continued to develop our gross and fine motor skills through play.
