Train Role Play

As part of our topic transport the children have had their favourite transport which has been trains. The children enjoyed a tuff tray with train tracks and trains. The children enjoyed looking at the train maps independently. We then extended the children’s interest by role playing and making our own role play of being at the train station. The children enjoyed boarding on the train and enjoyed making noises such as “choo choo”. The children enjoyed showing the ticket inspector their tickets that they made. The children enjoyed sitting on the train and then role playing it with their peers.
