The Horses have been focusing on Road Safety Week this week and talking about how they can be safe when out in the local community. The children walked safely down the road to the train station and talked about how they could safely cross the road at different crossings. The children got to the station and looked at safety inside the station. They all stood safely behind the yellow line to board the train and sat down holding onto the rail on the train. When they got off the train they looked at different types of crossing in the local environment such as traffic lights and zebra crossings. The children boarded a bus on the way back and looked at bus safety and all enjoyed watching out of the window on the return journey pointing out aspects of the local environment.
