Hawaiian Luau & Beach Day Parent Event

On  Friday  14^th we invited parents and carers to join us for our Hawaiian Luau  party  for  the  children. The children loved their beach themed day exploring large scale sand opportunities with their peers. The Hawaiian party provided opportunities to dance and listen to traditional music, making and tasting tropical  fruit  smoothies, face painting and crafts. Thank you everyone that joined us for out event.

 We would like to say a huge thank you to Keri one of our parents in baby room who volunteered to  speak with the children about Hawaii. Keri was born and raised in Hawaii and extended her life experience with the children. The children learnt about where Hawaii was on the map and that is it very far away. The children learnt how to say Aloha and how in Hawaii leis are given to others for birthdays, graduations and celebrations. The children ended the sessions with Hula dancing to the Ukulele.
