The Grasshoppers explored growing their own crystals. 

They poured water into a kettle. 

And flipped the switch to boil the water.

They discussed the boiling process and how to be careful with the water.

Once it was boiled they mixed the crystal formula powder into the water. 

Watching as the powder dissolved and changed the colour of the water.

They poured the mixture into jars and watched over a period of days as the crystals began to form and grow. 

Children looked on in awe and wonder as they watched the crystals form. 

After a week they added the crystals onto a light pad to see them up close. 

Everyone was excited at the growth and change in state of the water and power.
