The Ladybirds stated to celebrate National Soup Month by making a tomato soup. 

They talked about what they might need and made a shopping list. 

They went on a trip to Waitrose. 

They explored the shop choosing the items from the shopping list. 

Such as fresh tomatoes, onions and cream.

They added them to the basket. 

Then took them all to the till to pay. 

On arrival back at nursery the children worked hard with our chef Lana to make the soup. 

They carefully used children's knives to cut the vegetables. 

Managing the risk as they cut. 

The children used strength and determination to cut the vegetables into pieces and added it to the pan to cook. 

It was a delicious treat for tea.
