The Ponies have enjoyed going to the library this week. They used the library card and spoke to the librarian, chose their books and sat quietly to read their stories. They enjoyed looking at the pages and guessing what the stories were about, and listened to a group story. Back at nursery, they used letter flash cards and looked through the books tracing the words with their fingers to find the letters on their flashcards, supporting their letter recognition. They also counted how many times they’d found their letter on each page.
