The children went on a trip to Queens Court Care Home to take part in a baking session as part of our blending generations programme. The residents supported the children to follow instructions to follow a recipe, weigh out ingredients and mix the ingredients together to make some cakes. Once the cakes were ready the children were able to share a cake with the residents as they communicated and spread joy in the care home.
