Finding the Arctic Animals

This week the toddlers have enjoyed going on an adventure to find the hidden animals in the garden. The children used the binoculars and the magnify glasses to look through them to see what animals they could see. The children were excited to see the animals. The children found animals such as penguins and polar bears. The children then started counting the penguins and said “1,2,3 penguins.” We then extended this activity by making a messy tray with penguins and polar bears. The children explored the different textures in the tray and enjoyed exploring the textures in the tray. The children used words such as “soft”, “wet”. The children enjoyed exploring the winter tuff tray. The children were keen to explore and the different animals and the igloo.
