Baby room

This week in baby room we have been exploring the “that’s not my monster book”. For this activity a tray of different textures were set up, trying to mimic the different textures from the book. As we enjoyed the different tuft tray so much we extended this using visuals of different monsters with a tuft tray of multi-coloured spaghetti and rice.

We then went on to explore our gross motor skills by putting on monster claws! We walked across plain paper to make our own monster foot print painting, we used different colours and explored how the colours mixed when they overlapped on the paper, using language like “stomp”, “furry” and “RAWR”.
