Mini Beast Rocks Painting and Hunt

The Ladybirds took part in a rock painting activity. They painted the rocks into their own interpretations of mini beasts. Looking at real images in the mini beasts natural habitat. Once they had finished the painted mini beats rocks were added to a sensory tray and children were able to search for them using their sensory skills to explore hay, soil, sand and water to locate the rocks. Magnifying glasses and binoculars were used to help locate the mini beast rocks showing the children that things exist even when out of sight.
