The Grasshoppers had changed their home corner into a spooky Halloween potion kitchen for our Halloween celebrations. The children enjoyed going into the kitchen to explore potion making and pretending to be Halloween mythical creatures such as monsters and witches. Chelsea set up a potion making activity and the children laughed as they mixed together ingredients into cauldrons and discussed the different textures mixing them together. The children used different tools to add the ingredient's to the cauldrons such as tweezers, ladles and spoons. Trying though trial and error to get items such as spaghetti into the cauldron. The children made their own spells and took on a role in their play giving play ques to each other.
