Rosh Hashanah

On Friday in baby room we explored the Jewish festival Rosh Hashanah. We firstly enjoyed watching a short clip on the iPad and enjoyed listening to what the festival was about. We then did some apple painting in which we dipped apples into coloured paint and made marks onto the paper. We then sat in the book corner and enjoyed eating some challah bread and apples with our friends.

Toddler room celebrated Rosh Hashanah by sharing some apples and honey together. We enjoyed dipping our apples into the honey. We also listening to a book about Rosh Hashanah called Happy Roo year, which taught us all about how Rosh Hashanah is celebrated.
