On Friday it was time to explore our magical winter wonderland. 

Babies loved exploring their ice blue winter themed heuristic area, whilst toddler room had lots of fun with a snowy tuft tray. 

Preschool explored our winter fairyland on Friday morning, we spoke about the animals that live in the Antarctic and how cold it is there. We explored animals and fairies frozen in water to create our winter theme and had to use our thinking skills how we could rescue the animals and fairies from their frozen icebergs. We enjoyed playing in the snow and seeing the different textures.

All children then had a fantastic time looking for penguins in the arctic sensory room.
