Fruit Smoothies (1)

The Grasshopper room used fruit to make fresh fruit smoothies. 

They each chose a piece of fruit they wanted to cut and add to the smoothie. 

Discussing their favourite fruits and healthy eating. 

They used children's knives to cut the fruit into smaller pieces. 

Using mathematical skills to count the pieces of fruit. 

Once the fruit had been added to the blender the children explored technology and operated the machine. 

Pushing buttons and turning knobs. 

They watched in awe as the machine changed the state of the fruit. 

They carefully poured it into cups for tasting. 

It was delicious.
