The children in Butterflies have started off their Chinese new year celebrations this week by taking part in a mark making activity! The children looked at symbols, writing and numbers. The children enjoyed using a variety of paint brushes and paint to make their marks. The children concentrated on making their marks using a variety of strokes and circles. The Butterflies were able to name shapes they were making and shapes they could see! They also practiced counting in sequence and counting objects! Some of the children even recognised some of the number symbols and were able to point to the correct number! Well done Butterflies!
