Painting on a Different Texture
The babies have been busy exploring different textures. This week, we decided to paint on plastic using a bin liner as our canvas.
We provided the babies with watercolour paints, paintbrushes, and water, allowing them to freely explore and create their own masterpieces. The babies thoroughly enjoyed the experience, showing great curiosity as they discovered the unique texture and feel of the plastic while painting.
This activity encouraged sensory exploration, creativity, and early mark-making skills. The babies also enjoyed working alongside one another, sharing the experience and engaging in positive social interactions as they created their artwork together.
