Today, our Ladybirds enjoyed a wonderful sensory painting activity using tin foil, colourful paint and metal utensils. The children were fascinated by their reflections in the shiny foil, observing how their faces and surroundings appeared on its surface.
As they explored, they noticed that the paint moved and spread differently across the smooth foil compared with paper. Using the metal utensils, the children made marks, mixed colours and experimented with a variety of patterns and textures. This engaging activity encouraged curiosity, creativity, careful observation and fine motor development while providing a fun new way to experience painting.
