All of the petals were placed into the mortar.

Pestles were used to mash the petals together.

Water was added using pippets.

Children used fine motor skills to manipulate the pippets.

Squeezing them to suck up and water and then release water into the mortar.

The water was mixed and mashed with the petals.

Then the mixture was poured into small perfume bottles.

The children took turns in smelling the petal perfume.

The children extended on this by look at different flowers on the children's computers.
