Seed planting

Tigers were planting some herb seeds to go into our garden. They first had added the soil to the pots by using a child's spade, this show good control and co-ordination in small movements. They move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. They handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.’

The children will take care of the seeds with regular watering and this will enable them to see them grow and also offers lots of language opportunities.
