Galaxy

 This week in baby room we’ve been exploring light and dark activities in doing this the babies have enjoyed learning about galaxies and looking at the sky and how it looks at night. We used ICT to listen to one of their favourite nursery rhymes ‘Zoom Zoom Zoom’ and see visuals of the night sky. We extended this by painting our own galaxies, we used dark coloured card, pegs and cotton wool to dip into paint and practiced using our pincer and palmer grips to hold onto the pegs and dab onto the paper making marks to look like the galaxy. This helped us work on our fine motor skills. Well done babies!
