Happy International Snake Day
Today the butterflies learnt about snakes, their habitats and how they move and then got take part in a fun experiment making their own snakes move. To start everyone decorated a piece of tissues with some lovely snake patterns, before rolling around a pencil to make their little snake. Using pipettes we dropped water on to the tiny snakes and made them grown and move on the table. This was such a great way to use fine motor skills and see how things can change due to different elements. The children were so impressed with how their snakes moved. Well done butterflies.
