The Grasshoppers had lots of fun exploring the conkers. The Grasshoppers carefully picked them up, felt their smooth, shiny shells and compared their different sizes. The Grasshoppers were curious to discover what was inside the prickly green cases and enjoyed talking about their autumn treasures. Once they had finished exploring, the Grasshoppers took part in some exciting conker rolling, using their hands to roll the conkers along the tray and watching to see how far they would travel. This fun, hands-on activity encouraged the children to develop their fine and gross motor skills, practise hand-eye coordination and explore movement, all while enjoying the wonders of Autumn.
