Diwali

In toddler room this week we learned about Diwali, the festival of light. We listened to a story that taught us all about Diwali celebrations. We explored a colourful tuft tray filled with lights and colourful rice.

We also enjoyed a special session with Kerris sparkles, where she showed us some pictures of rangoli patterns, their special musical instruments and even played some traditional music. We also learnt a song where we held a tea light (battery operated) and hid it behind our backs and sang the song, and on the right queue we brought the tealight in front of us and held it high to light up the sky. It was so much fun!
