Tree Climbing

The Horses went on a trip to explore their physical development in the natural world. They used a variety of large scale and gross motor muscles to climb tree's int he forest. Children were able to manipulate their bodies to make a range of movement to climb up and then back the tree's. 

Children were able to concentrate as they took risks using their bodies. Calculating what movement they needed to make to move higher up the tree in a safe manner. Children were able to manage the risks they made with skilled practitioners standing nearby for support when needed.
