The Horses created their own extendable caterpillars. Everyone used felt tip pens to draw their caterpillars on tissue paper. The children grasped the pens using dominant hands and created meaningful marks which they gave meaning to. The children used fine motor skills to roll up tissue paper and create their caterpillar shapes. The children used pippets to dop droplets of water onto the caterpillars and watched in awe as the caterpillars expanded in size and hnages colour as the pen marks ran.
