Eid al-Adha was celebrated by Lions this week. It is celebrated with visits to family and friends having a special meal, having new clothes, gifts to the children. Lions made Eid biscuits for the whole nursery they also made Eid cards using a star shape. The EYFS values the roles that festivals  and celebrations play in supporting children's learning and development in every area of learning and through them parents and practitioners can support children in beginning to understand the commonalities of human values that are shared by all cultures and religions.
