Counting the Elves
Our lovely teacher Natasha set up a lovely black tuff tray with some Christmas resources such as snow, cotton wool, tissue paper with some fun elves. We used numbers 1-5 to count the elves and some children going beyond and up to 10. Grouping the elves into groups of size also of big and small. To extend this we added some baubles and tinsel and beads to the tray to explore the sensory side of colours and textures. The elves they started jumping out the tray to run away so cheeky!
