The Ponies have been exploring a volcanic eruption. They built the volcano with sand, looking at real volcanos around the world and discussing the shape and size. The children supported to mould the sand into the shape of a volcano. The children talked about a volcanic eruption and watched videos to see what this looked like. Evie supported the children to make their own scientific volcanic eruption with a simple science experiment. The children took turns to make predictions about what might happen. Then they talked about how to make this happen. Testing their ideas in practice. The children poured various ingredients into the volcano and excitedly watched the volcano erupt.
