This week the children have enjoyed learning all about the Ramadan festival and extending their experiences and discussions through a variety of experiences and ideas.
The children have been sharing books around the Ramadan festival including Rameena’s Ramadan and the Islamic religion. The children enjoyed watching short educational clips of families gathering together to break their fast.
The toddler room enjoyed using their making skills to create their own Henna patterns and hand prints.
Preschool room created their own clay crescent moon and star clay model which they will be further extending by painting and and displaying as a 3D model for a key discussion activity.
The baby room loved linking their sensory experiences with a new texture of Moon paint. The babies enjoyed mixing to create the moon paint and then extended by using the paint to make marks.
