This month our curriculum topic is fantasy and fiction. 

Tigers have chosen to 'The Gruffalo' to concentrate on. They had a large circle time with all the props from the story, which they really enjoyed and joining in with some of the story. They loved to shouting our when they saw the Gruffalo on the page. 

Reading and storytelling helps the children learn about sounds, words and language. Reading stimulates imagination, develops their social skills. By using props during the story time, it enriches the reading process and creates a rich environment to delve deeper into the story.
