Goldilocks and the Three Bears

The Ladybirds have been reading the traditional story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They have been following the story of Goldilocks eating the bears porridge so the ladybirds made the three bears some more porridge to eat. The children pored porridge oats into a bowl and carefully mixed in milk. They used spoons as tools to mix the two ingredients together. The children talked about the mixture being sticky and wet and practitioners introduced new language about the change in texture. Childrne carefully maniplaued knives to cut ip pieces of fruit to add to thei rporrige. Once it was eady the children fed it to the bears.
