On Thursday the children celebrated Hanukkah. The younger children explored different Hanukkah visuals and were read a short story. Dolphins, Seahorses and Turtles listened and asked lots of questions as their familiar adult read an informative Hanukkah book. The children had the opportunity to look at different menorahs and comparing the sizes before working as a team to see which candles fit in which menorah and lighting one of the candles. Before lighting the candle the children took part in a risk assessment and decided that only the adults could light it.
