Shell Trinket Boxes

The Butterflies explored designing their own shell trinket boxes.

They used high levels of concentration to add glue and shells to the boxes.

Fine motor skills were used to pick up small shells in a pincer grasp.

Hand eye co-ordination was used to attach the shell to the box with glue.

Children demonstrated the characteristics of effective earning as they explored this activity.

They kept trying if difficulties occurred such as the shell falling off.

Exploring through trial and error as they identified how much glue to use to effectively glue the shell.

Well done Butterflies.
