Sock Bubble Experiment

The Grasshoppers explored making bubbles in a new way.

They covered a open bottle with a sock and mixed washing up liquid with water to create the mixture.

The children used their own bottles to practice big blows to create bubbles.

The children noticed the more they blew the more bubbles they created.

It was an excellent way to explore cause and effect.

Long bubbles were created that moved in the wind.

Breathing techniques were explored to blow harder and for longer.

Children started to understand the effects on their bodies as they blow.
