Daffodil Mark Making

The Ladybirds explored spring daffodils.

They looked at the flowers and explored their texture and smell.

They went on to create their own interpretation of a daffodil on paper.

They used paint to make marks on paper.

They also used felt tip pens to make marks.

The children made a range of circular movements and lines to create marks.

They gave meaning to the marks such as saying 'my flower'.

Some children chose to use the daffodil t paint with.

Some printed the flower onto the paper.

The children explored creatively in their own way.

This was a process over product activity.
