The Butterflies read the story Elmer and took part in creating their own Elmer colourful elephants. Children selected various coloured pieces of tissue paper. Categorising them in piles of various colours. Children used glue spreaders to spread glut onto a milk bottle, manipulating the glue spreader with skill to cover the milk bottle. Children gave names to the colours as they picked up pieces of tissue paper. Adding them to the bottle with the sticky glue carefully. Children used their Elmer models to re-tell the familiar story.
