The children went into the forest this spring to take part in some pond dipping. The children had the opportunity to descend into the pond exploring the natural environment, water and search for pond life. The children were able to use nets to dip into the water and search for natural materials and pond life. Buckets  were use to explore the findings and explore the pond water. The children were able to manage their physical development as they explored the pond and also manage their own risk as they carefully explored the pond.
